I was born into the first generation of a free Poland, after 123 years of occupation. I grew up thinking that no one would ever again take our freedom, but the German invasion of Poland and the outbreak of war dashed my hopes. There are many like me. We know how to fight. We prefer to operate in the shadows to maximize our chances and minimize losses. When that fails, we face the enemy head-on.
LEVERAGE THE ENVIRONMENT
We know Warsaw inside and out and exploit it. The Germans are reducing it to ruins, and it’s easier for us to fight in them.
RALLY YOUR ALLIES
There are fewer of us, but we have nothing to lose, and we are united by stronger bonds. Good cooperation is crucial. Each of us has different personalities and skills, but we can work together. On the battlefield, no one replaces a good friend by your side.
