Afterimage is a hand-drawn, 2D action adventure game that places an emphasis on fast-paced combat with diversified character builds, non-linear levels, and an intriguing storyline that takes place in the ruins of a fantasy world.
A girl with amnesia named Renee awakens among the ruins of the city’s capital many years after a cataclysm known as “The Razing” came perilously close to wiping out human civilization. She sets out on a perplexing mission to save her teacher so that she can regain the memories she has lost, but inadvertently sets in motion a chain of occurrences that will ultimately decide the course of the new world.
