ANOTHER SIGHT is a steampunk-influenced surreal fantasy adventure that takes place in London in the year 1899, towards the end of the Victorian era. In ANOTHER SIGHT, which places a strong emphasis on culture and character, the primary focus is on the emotional development of the relationship between the story’s two protagonists, Kit, a refreshingly intrepid teenager, and Hodge, a mysterious red-furred cat. Kit and Hodge are the two main characters in the story.
After Kit suffers vision loss as a result of the collapse of the tunnel she was exploring, they come face to face in the shadowy confines of a construction site for the London Underground. They decide to embark on a journey together into the unknown, during which Hodge demonstrates that he is an invaluable travel companion, becoming someone upon whom Kit will come to rely. Both together and separately, Kit and Hodge investigate a surreal fantasy world. They do this by utilising the one-of-a-kind skills that they possess in order to navigate the enticing environments in which they find themselves and to solve the puzzling challenges they encounter. Kit and Hodge come across a secret society beneath London in a world that was inspired by Neil Gaiman’s urban fantasy, Neverwhere. This society is comprised of the world’s greatest inventors and finest artistic minds, such as Claude Monet, Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison, and other historical cultural icons.
