The proprietor of a neighbourhood arcade, Gilly, is fighting a nameless multinational corporation in an effort to protect his company. In order to accomplish this, he takes all of the best arcade games and connects them together to create a super game. Unfortunately, the massive corporation Fun Fun Co. hacks the game and inserts a virus. It is up to you and your friends to save the game, as well as the final arcade in your hometown.
This constantly developing multiplayer shooter gives you and up to three other players the opportunity to discover a variety of biomes and minigames, hunt for hidden chests, and take on a variety of enemy types and bosses. Arcadegeddon is a cooperative multiplayer experience that offers a mix of PVE and PVP experiences and allows for a wide variety of play speeds. The game’s name comes from a combination of the words “arcade” and “apocalypse.” As you progress through the game, you will have the opportunity to take on additional challenges posed by the neighbourhood “gangs” that congregate in Gilly’s Arcade. You will acquire far more than just street cred as a result of these. To further establish your credibility in the community, work to move up the leaderboards.
