Biohazard Vendetta Z Infected Experience is a short, free VR experience that lets players experience the world of Resident Evil: Vendetta from the point of view of a zombie. It was released in 2017 exclusively for the PlayStation VR.
The experience is set during the New York bioterrorist attack that is depicted in the film. Players control a character who is caught up in the chaos and transforms into a zombie due to the airborne Trigger Virus. They then find themselves in an elevator with other infected, before being led to a hallway where Chris Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy are fighting a hoard of zombies. The player’s zombie runs past Chris and Leon’s Ducati motorcycle before being killed by Leon.
