The second installment of the Curse of the Moon series features traditional two-dimensional gameplay, a retro 8-bit aesthetic, and an updated gameplay system. The previous title’s multiple-scenario structure makes a comeback, and it is accompanied by an epic new story that was personally supervised by IGA (Koji Igarashi).
Zangetsu, a swordsman from the far east who harbours a deep grudge against demonkind and the alchemists who summoned them, is the character that players take control of in this game. Zangetsu must engage in combat in order to reach the stronghold of the demons, but he is not required to do so alone! Zangetsu has the ability to form alliances with brand new characters that he encounters along the way and add them to the roster of playable characters.
The second installment of the Curse of the Moon series introduces three brand-new playable characters, one of whom is the exorcist Dominique. Every character from the first game in the Curse of the Moon series can be controlled in this sequel. With the introduction of each new character, a plethora of new options, abilities, and routes to success in the game’s many levels are made available.
