A classic roguelite
The King of Darkness is certainly immortal… but he can admit defeat. You’ll have to start your adventure again and again… that’s the point of the game, after all! But don’t panic, with each new incarnation, you keep your equipment and your improvements… at least part of it.
In Summum Aeterna, you maintain your progress thanks to the unique character and the game’s improvement system. Regardless of the number of defeats, the progress of your skill tree is preserved. The upgrades you unlock in each world also last forever.
Random worlds
In Summum Aeterna, you will discover a unique world generator: the Seedman. The latter generates a unique world including different enemies, special events and even a larger map depending on the rarity and genes contained in the seed.
World modifiers called “seed genes” are both positive and negative characteristics found in every seed. They are the ones who decide what dangers, encounters and rewards await you. You can thus generate the world that best suits your way of playing.
Seeds are the origin of worlds and genes modify them, so each seed is different and so is the world that hatches from it!
A combat mode as brutal as it is frantic
In Summum Aeterna, there is only one way to survive: kill any wandering soul (dead or alive depending on the enemy) that you come across. How ? Well, you play as a cursed monarch… your weapons are those of a king!
Customization options for your weapons are also available in Summum Aeterna through gems. These gems improve the characteristics of your weapons and allow you to obtain super upgrades. Add passive and offensive abilities to improve the combat performance of your weapons by embedding them with gems. You will also be able to raise your weapons to their Ultimate level to unleash their true power thanks to the diagrams you will obtain!
Customizable adventures
In Summum Aeterna, you can create the adventure that suits you. Each world contains many rewards such as new seeds and things to improve your character’s skills, unlock weapons or make those you have even more lethal and of course, things to improve the characteristics of each world.
A multiplayer ranking
In Summum Aeterna, you will discover the Champions Board, a multiplayer and cross-platform feature. This mechanic records the best seed level completed as quickly as possible by each competitor. There is a classification for influenced seeds and another for standard seeds.
