The Disney Afternoon Collection is a compilation of classic video games that will transport you to a simpler time when gaming was at its peak and afternoons were packed with exciting new experiences. You can play as Scrooge McDuck and go on treasure hunts all over the world, you can play as Darkwing Duck and fight crime, you can play as Baloo the Bear and soar through the skies, and you can play as Chip and Dale in cooperative mode to take down Fat Cat. Each of the six classic games has been updated with new and improved visuals, and there are filtering options that recreate the look and feel of games from the past.
This collection also includes new ways to play with modes such as Boss Rush and Time Attack. Both of these modes encourage gameplay based on a clock and include online leaderboards for players to compete on. Additionally, a new feature called “Rewind” makes these difficult games more approachable for newcomers by providing the option to rewind time and take pleasure in a speedy recovery from mistakes made while playing. The best part is that the in-game Museum will provide history buffs with a wealth of extras to celebrate the era of the original releases. These extras will include concept art and music, both of which have been carefully preserved.
