The single-player campaign in Amplitude is designed to look like a futuristic concept album, and it consists of 15 songs. The game’s visuals, music, and lyrics all contribute to the game’s overarching story. As you work to revive your unconscious patient and broaden her horizons, you will need to take her on a journey through the vastness of the human mind.
In addition, Amplitude features a multiplayer mode that can accommodate up to four players and allows for free-for-all competition, team-versus-team play, or cooperative score-chasing. There are also the obligatory leaderboards, which can either provide you with a sense of self-validation or make you feel like a complete idiot, depending on your current level of expertise.
